The Morning Tilts
Based on a song by the band “The Matches”, this charcoal drawing basically describes every morning I’ve ever had.
The morning tilts,
over the hills,
and it floods the world.
The morning tilts,
the morning spills,
we lose our grip
and slip…away
…into the day.
